Select a date range as well as any other ranges you might want.

When the tick box alongside the record is checked, you will notice that the Generate Letter and Add Code to Guest boxes are enabled.  When you generate a letter, the letter will go to all those people whose tick boxes have been checked.  If you don’t want to send a letter to a particular person, you can uncheck the tick box alongside their name and their record will not be included in the mailing.  You can add a specific code to all the records with checked tick boxes at any time.  Typically you might want to use this feature to add a code or codes to a guest record to enable you to follow up on them at a later stage.  As an example, if we did a mail campaign to all people who stayed with us last winter and then at a later stage, wanted to find all those who had stayed as a result of that campaign, we could use a combination of date ranges and guest codes to find these people.
